Nick Worstell, Counselor
After graduating from Colorado State University with a degree in Sociology, I began my career in Fort Collins working with youth in a residential group home. Additionally, I worked with at-risk children and their families as a Family Advocate. Following my work as a Family Advocate, I was a Home Supervisor working alongside foster families as I completed monthly home visits and provided support to these families and the children in their care. Through all of my experience I have developed a strong connection with children in crisis; working with this population has only solidified my belief that this is my calling. I was extremely fortunate to be the oldest child in a family with five adopted siblings. My family's unique make-up has provided me with a distinct perspective on children in crisis and the immeasurable growth and happiness which can result when children are given a chance.
